First of all Marxistt society believed in interest of the public over the self. In a Marxist economy the people owned the factors of production for the welfare of the society. They believed in creating an equal class ,they believed that goverment run society, there will be better working conditions and eventually economic progress because everyone would be equal . In the other hand Capitalists believed that due to competition and supply and demand policies people could access to cheaper & better and more efficiently made goods, wich ultimately helped both the consumer and the producer, leading to progress in the economy.
3.The main problem for unions were to grant good working conditions and increase the wages of workers to a sufficient level. They negotiated with the employers to get these things done, however sometimes the employes will refuse. This would lead the workers to strike or not work. However this mostly benefited skilled workers that were low numbers. The poor were not lucky. They were unskilled workers and they were plenty of them.Unions were also to promote the idea of women rights and their right to equal pay because during the mid 1800s.
4-I think that economic factors definitevely play a major role in society.I think that this idea is wrong.Economic factors can change the class structure and other social things, However things such as political factors such as the people desire in democracy is far much greater. There have been revolutions due to major economical canges, such eas collapse of the Soviet Union etc.People wanted a economic freedin to the goverment, so even though economic forces do play a major role, it is in the end of what the people want
